Robin Seligman is the founder of Seligman Law. She has practiced immigration law since 1985 and is a Certified Specialist in Immigration Law by the Law Society of Ontario. She is an expert on Canadian immigration matters and represents corporate clients large and small as well as individuals in all types of immigration matters including complicated cases with inadmissibility. She has an excellent track record and will not leave any stone unturned for her clients.
Robin is Past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association national section for Citizenship and Immigration as well as Past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association, Citizenship and Immigration section. Robin remains an active executive member of the Ontario Bar Association and an active past chair of the CBA section. In 2016, Robin became an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law, Faculty of Law at Western University.
Robin has also been asked to consult with numerous Ministers of Citizenship and Immigration and the Departments of Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) and Employment, Social Development Canada (ESDC) and the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP). She has appeared in front of the Senate and Parliamentary committees on the topic of Canadian citizenship and immigration law and has chaired a coalition of organizations for the purpose of lobbying the Canadian Government for more equitable changes to Canadian immigration policy.
She has chaired, lectured and spoken extensively for various organizations on the topic of Canadian immigration law including the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, The Law Society of Ontario, Insight, The Canadian Institute and Seneca College. She has also appeared on CBC and CTV television.
