Aditya Akre – Director of International Student Initiative, South Asia, UBC
Aditya brings extensive experience in international education, with over fourteen years of professional engagement with Canadian post-secondary institutions. He currently serves as the Director for South Asia at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he is responsible for managing UBC's international strategic initiatives across the region. Previously, Aditya held the position of Campus Director at LaSalle College Vancouver, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the college’s new campus. Prior to his tenure at LaSalle, he spent more than a decade with the University of the Fraser Valley’s international campus in India, contributing significantly to the university’s growth and outreach in the region.
