This section focuses on pricing as a leadership and financial management responsibility. Participants explore sustainable fee structures, cost awareness, and ethical billing practices. The discussion reinforces that appropriate pricing supports competent service delivery, reduces professional risk, and ensures transparency and fairness for clients.

Why this works:

Pricing and sustainability are explicitly governed by 4.2.6 and 4.9. This is now very clean for accreditation reviewers.

6.1.9 Identifies need and takes the appropriate steps to maintain and enhance competence. Participants will take appropriate steps to maintain and enhance competence through understanding current immigration programs related to international students as well as planning how to provide exceptional service to those clients.

Speaker:

Olena Weber is an RCIC with 8 years of experience managing her immigration practice in Mississauga, ON. Her true passion lies in running a business coaching program that supports fellow RCICs in simplifying and expanding their practices with intention and purpose. Through her programs, she helps immigration professionals achieve sustainable growth, build strong client relationships, and maintain a balanced life.

Through participation and speaking at various industry events, Olena advocates for the importance of healthy work-life balance for immigration professionals. She raises issues related to the “work burnout”, which have become increasingly common among her fellow colleagues in recent years.

Beyond her practice, Olena plays an active role on the Board of Directors for the Association of Ukrainian Canadian Immigration Consultants, aiming to support the professional community and immigrants from Ukraine.
